Refund Policy

1. Overview

At Balaji Renewable Energy, we are committed to delivering high-quality solar installation services. This Refund Policy explains the terms under which refunds, cancellations, and adjustments may be made for our services.

Please read this policy carefully before signing any agreement or making any payment. By making a payment to Balaji Renewable Energy, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Free Consultation

Our website consultation requests are entirely free of charge. No payment is collected at the consultation stage. No refund is applicable for consultation bookings.

3. Booking / Token Advance

A booking or token advance may be collected once both parties agree to proceed with an installation after the site survey.

  • Cancellation before site survey: 100% refund of the token advance, processed within 7–10 business days.
  • Cancellation after site survey but before work begins: 50% of the token advance will be refunded to cover survey costs and administrative expenses.
  • Cancellation after installation work has commenced: No refund on the token advance. Any additional payments made proportional to work completed are non-refundable.

4. Full Project Payments

Payments made at various milestones of the installation project are governed as follows:

  • Equipment / Material Procurement Stage: Once materials have been ordered or procured on your behalf, those costs are non-refundable.
  • Installation in Progress: Payments corresponding to completed work milestones are non-refundable.
  • Post-Installation: No refunds are issued after the installation is complete and the handover documentation has been signed.

5. Warranty & Defect Remedies

Balaji Renewable Energy provides warranties on both workmanship and equipment as specified in your installation agreement. In the case of defective equipment or poor workmanship, we will:

  • Repair or replace the defective component at no additional cost within the warranty period.
  • In cases where repair or replacement is not feasible, a partial refund or credit may be offered at our sole discretion.

Warranty claims do not entitle the customer to a full project refund.

6. Government Subsidy Delays

Government subsidies (PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana or state-level schemes) are processed by the respective government bodies and are beyond our control. Delays or rejection of subsidy claims do not entitle customers to a refund from Balaji Renewable Energy.

7. Force Majeure

No refund is applicable for delays or non-completion of services caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, supply chain disruptions, or extreme weather events.

8. How to Request a Refund

To initiate a cancellation or refund request, please contact us in writing via email at least 48 hours before the scheduled activity date.

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–15 business days, depending on your bank.

9. Amendments

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. The policy in effect at the time of your payment or contract signing shall apply to your transaction.
